The J.R. The J.R. Trippe Chief boys posted a team score of 347 to defeat Bleckley County by 10 strokes.  The boys were lead by 7th grader Bryson Davis who shot a 77 and was the low medalist for the men's tournament.  The other golfers contributing to the team score were Chase Edwards, Avery Washinger and Luke McCall.  "Region is a tough tournament for these young men.  Normally, we play nine-hole matches but the region tournament is 18 holes.  All of these young men did exceptionally well on a very long and hot day," said Coach Stanley.  This is the second year in a row that the J.R.
