BOE Honors System Retirees!

289 years of teaching and leadership experience in the Vidalia City School System was represented at the regular meeting of the Vidalia Board of Education on Monday. Three teachers from Vidalia High School and five teachers from JD Dickerson, along with Superintendent Dr. Garrett Wilcox, were recognized for their retirement by the Board, honoring each for their service to the Vidalia City Schools.

REACH Winners with J.R. Trippe Admin
REACH Scholarship Winners Announced!

For the 6th year, Vidalia City Schools has presented $50,000 of needs-based scholarships to five J.R. Trippe 8th graders. In a ceremony held recently at Vidalia High School, Zakyria Williams, Eion Ryals, Charlotte Powell, Lauren Hardnett, and Madisyn Corbett received $10,000 in REACH Scholarships that will garner them financial support upon graduation.
